Fly air combat or learn aerobatics while at NBAA

October 2, 2011 by Alton K. Marsh, Senior Editor, AOPA Pilot

If you are going to Las Vegas this month for the NBAA convention, the jet static aircraft display is at the same airport, Henderson Executive, as Sky Combat Ace, an air combat thrill ride company that offers single-airplane flights, if you just want to do some aerobatics with an instructor, or two-ship flights if you want to fight a friend. What are friends for if you can’t fight them? The school uses new Extra aerobatic aircraft that roll 360-degrees a second. Learn to recover from wildly unusual flight attitudes. Call 888/494-5850.

Don’t want to go upside down? OK. If you would rather look at Las Vegas or visit the Grand Canyon for a few hours or a whole day, that same flight school operates Vegas 500, an aerial tour company. Or call 888/494-5850, the same number as above.
