Have you ever dreamed of landing on the expanse of Rosamond Dry Lakebed at Edwards Air Force Base–or even just flying over the historic site? This may be your chance.
The Air Force Flight Test Center will host its first-ever GA fly-in on Oct.1. The center will give 100 civilian pilots the opportunity to fly themselves into Edwards’ airspace–and land on the lakebed–for the 2010 Flight Test Nation Lakebed Fly-in.
Apply well in advance of Sept. 10, which is the date of a lottery that will select the 100 lucky pilots and 20 alternates. More information is available online; the application to participate is online as well.
Personally, I enjoy living in the Mid-Atlantic region…but unique, once-in-a-lifetime bucket list opportunities like this make me wish I was in California.

Too late! The FAA is no longer accepting applications for the Fly-in. You can still drive in however. DARN!

For those of us close enough to fly around Edwards on a semi regular basis the opportunity makes my mouth water and I dreamed last night of landing my Decathlon there..

Gee, I get this notice on Friday via the AOPA Friday email and then find out when I follow the link that it was closed out the night before.
Seems to me that someone could have deleted the link to register instead of having it sound like it was still an option.

With havin so much content do you ever run into any
problems of plagorism or copyright violation?
My website has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any ways to help stop content from being stolen? I’d certainly appreciate it.

Tomb Raider, Mega Moolah, Mermaid’s Millions, and Blackjack are some of the new Android game apps that have been released from Microgaming’s partner, Spin 3.
I laughed when she said that, partially because I
was arrogant enough to believe that my book would be great and the rest because
I know that “what goes around, comes around. Perhaps it’s a good thing that he doesn’t get too kinky’after all, the short films are supposed to encourage fans to go green, not to daydream about being tied up in Christian’s Red Room of Pain.
