1 - It&#039;s not an Airbus, it&#039;s an Embraer E190
2 - The next generation of airline pilots need to come from somewhere.  The two pilots who flew the E190 in got their start in EAA Young Eagles.  Nothing wrong to motivate young people, to show them what can be achieved.  Worse things tan becoming a full time aviator for a living.
3 - The E190 is one of the most advanced airliners out there, again, lets share the technology

For some, ho hum, for some it&#039;s exciting (especially if they&#039;ve never seen the type).  Your analysis is almost the same comment that could be made about when the Airline Heritage Museum (Save-A-Connie) brought the TWA Constellation ot OSH.  Or an Air Force C17...  

For EAA and GA to thrive, we need to have a dialogue across the whole aviation community]]></description>
