I am unsure of who to contact at aopa for my question. Maybe you can point me in the right direction.
After hearing about the Flight Prep situation I was wondering is there any action that AOPA is taking besides ignoring FlightPrep’s actions?
My opinion is that AOPA should sever all ties with FlightPrep/ASA including advertising and the like. AOPA should also consider helping other sites such as runwayfinder.com in the coming litigation even if AOPA is not named in suits. This is very important to the aviation community as a whole and Flight Prep has over stepped their bounds. I would like to know that my membership fees are being used well.
Also this should make its way to the people that speak with our representatives. The Patent office is clearly out of hand and in this instance is harming the Aviation community as a whole.
AOPA should be more vocal on how they are handling this situation.
Thanks for your Time
